It's snowing Michael Buble's 'Christmas' on the Billboard 200 next weekThink Michael Buble had a good week this week when “Christmas” moved 292,000 units to outsell Adele’s “21” by a two-to-one margin and retain his No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200? Then just wait until next week when “Christmas” possibly surpasses the 500,000 mark. Every now and then a Christmas title takes over the charts and dominates through the holidays (even if it doesn’t camp out at No. 1): it’s happened with Susan Boyle’s “I Dreamed a Dream,” Josh Groban’s “Noel” and now it’s Buble’s moment. |

Usually, a tradeoff between the two is required, which could have reduced one or more of the annual increases to a politically unpalatable 1-1/2% level. |
